🎃 Halloween 2018

Charlie loves Toothless the Night Fury Dragon from the How to Train Your Dragon movie (well, we ALL love Toothless and those movies! My cousin Carson worked on the 2nd movie and we're excited for the 3rd one to come out in March). We agreed to dress up as those characters and it was so fun to make these costumes!! Spence made most of his beard on his own. Hardly anyone noticed that i used my old pony tails to extend the braids. People looked at them as if they were thinking "I didn't know her hair was so long!" but they didn't ask. ha ha! Josie looked just like Astrid and Perry insisted we he do Hiccup WITH the peg leg. :) Kaden was a good sport as SnotLout and Chuck loved being Toothless! Spence was Stoic for the ward Trunk or Treat but Kaden dressed as Stoic for Halloween night. It's hard to say who wore it best. :) As a bonus, I got to show off my friend Nicole at the Trunk or Treat ward dinner!
For the first time in 3 years since living on Fall Creek, in addition to our own street we decided to Trick-or-Treat to the street behind our house. There were 3 other families out knocking for candy. Its amusing that every door we went to said, "You're the first trick or treaters we've had in [some odd] years!" One family asked where we lived and when we explained she said, "OH! You're the piñata party house! We sat outside and watched that whole thing! So fun!" Spence asked, "Did you see me miss and fall too?" "Yep! We sure did! ha ha!" ha ha haaa! That made my night! :)
I love Halloween! I love making fun costumes and showing them to the neighbors! I love candy! And I love Halloween... oh I said that already? Well, I really really do!
