Piero Turns 9!

Perry Bear is NINE! We are so lucky to have him in our family. He loves Autumn because he loves to rake big piles of leaves, jump in them, then rake them up again. He still loves and needs big hugs, kisses, and lots of snuggles. Affection is a big part of his Love Language, for sure! But we don't mind at all. Perry is so loving and adores his family. He's silly and funny and sassy too! He loves to get a rise out of us with his ways of "pushing our buttons". But at the end of the day, he says the sweetest most grateful prayers. He's a good helper and a hard worker. He's a wild climber and loves to see what his body is capable of. He climbs higher in the tree every time he goes up, jumps farther, hangs longer, and runs faster with each attempt. He really pushed himself in soccer this last season as well. It was so great to see him work hard, improve his skills, and love it!

Perry is always a great playmate with his siblings. He and Kaden keep eachother up at night "arguing" but mostly giggling and laughing. He's especially accommodating to Jo & Charlie when they play. Like being the horse for Cowboy Chuck to ride, playing school and being the teacher (and actually teaching them math and spelling), spending hours building trio block creations together (including slippers, which he said were "not comfy".) :) and taking time to read to them for as long as they want. Melts my heart when I see how good he is to them. Sure he's still like any brother: he can be pesky and likes to see them squeal, but most of the time he just loves on them.   

With his birthday being on Sunday, we took him to dinner at Bravo on Saturday night. This kid LOVES pasta! He hopes he goes to Italy on his mission cuz he loves pasta that much. ha ha! 

For his birthday he asked for an Ewok & Jawa cake. He wanted a Mario Wii game and an Ewok stuffed animal. Daddy bought the game and I made the Ewok. Spencer thinks its creepy/sad that i cut the face off a cute teddy bear and swapped it for a Wicket-Ewok face... but it was worth it to see how much Perry loves his new Ewok pal. :)

Perry we are so blessed that you're in our eternal family! We love you so much! You are so very special to us! We hope you enjoyed your ninth birthday, but most importantly, we hope you felt all the love we have for you!
