Nicole Evans Lunt is someone everyone needs to know. She’s just one of those people that sticks in your heart. I was thrilled she came for a visit! We had so much fun with her this weekend! She brought some Mexican candies, rocks for the kids collection, and even some ancient clay pot artifacts from Arizona! She spent time with each of the kids everyday. She played piano with Kaden, played cards with Perry, colored with Josie, and made paper airplanes with Charlie. They adore her!
I got to be crazy, quote movies, laugh until we cried (talk until we cried too), and just have some hermanita time. I loved every second of it! She came out 6 years ago when her husband Jarom was in Indy for 4H. She brought little Brielle then. This time it was just her. 6 years was too long. I’ve missed her so much.
I met her in the 2nd area of my mission. She was 17 & a member in an English ward. When we met, our spirits connected. She began coming to teaching appointments with us and even transferred her records so she could serve in the small Spanish branch. She had studied French but then learned Spanish so fast! She was talented, athletic, funny, smart, loving and super generous! She was always helping and serving, always giving to someone for something. She impressed me constantly. I never wanted a little sister until I met her. Fast forward to present day: she still serves in the Spanish branch with her husband and 4kids. She is still all those wonderful things and she still impresses me constantly! Having this time with her was awesome! My kids fell in love with her too. We were all so sad when we came home from the airport without her. I truly believe that we didn’t just know our families in the pre earth life. We knew our friends too!
