Years ago Josie started a book idea called “Into the Vortex”. She created a cover and wrote a gripping back cover intro, about a girl named Maya Yousefi. But that’s as far as she got. Dad has been encouraging her to write the whole story. But pretty sure she lost interest before junior high.
Tonight she and I were looking at Pinterest haircuts, when e were shocked to see this ad for a book called (can you guess??) “Into the Vortex”!! I said “ oh no!” And Josie gruffly growled “They took it from meee!!” But it wasn’t her usual spunky voice; she said “meee” in an octave lower and beast-like! It startled me and we both couldn’t stop laughing!
Well Jo I think you should still give us your book of the same title. We’re still curious to know what came of Maya y’Yousefi!
