It was so special to see our baby Charlie pass the Sacrament for the first time. He was smiling and we were all watching him feeling so much love. He told me afterwards how good it felt to pass the sacrament. Charlie your heart is so pure and full of goodness.
He also went to his first BYD(bishop youth devotional) at Bishop Gerstner’s house. Since daddy serves as a deacons adviser now, he attends the youth events with our kids. I asked Perr and Jo to look out for him there. When the arrived home, I knew Charlie had a good time because he was chanting “BYD, BYD!” as if it was his favorite sports team! He ran up to me and hugged me. He told me all about how fun it was and what he learned and playing hide and seek with Josie and the other younger youth. It made my heart so happy.
Perry has been trying to step up and be a good example. Tonight when Jo and chuck were fighting at dinner, he pulled Josie aside and gave her tips on how to resolve it. It was beyond heartwarming. I felt so much gratitude for Perry and his efforts.
These three fight and laugh and play together and fight, on repeat. But we know they truly do love each other.
