After we got the kids ready for bed, we left to have a date to ourselves and left Kaden to care for the kids (its so nice having a 12 year old!). We drove to the Monon Trail in Carmel for our first time and brought our boards. It was so much fun and the weather was perfect! We went for miles and just enjoyed being together, the wind in our hair, sailing with the boards under our feet. :) Since it was over cast, not many people were on the trail, which was perfect. There was one older woman on a bike that said to me "You GO girl!" :) Why, thank you! :)
I can't believe after living here 8 years, this was our first time taking advantage of the trail. We are definitely bringing the kids to ride the trail soon.

Spencer is my everything. I love that we are even more in love now than our first time skateboarding 14 yrs ago. I love enjoying things like this with him. He's my ride or die, forevah!
