Josie asked to play me in scrabble. I let her start us off and go first. She put down the word ‘zoo’. Z was on a double letter score in the last O was on a double letter score too. So a three little letters she earned 23 points! We were both pretty confident that she was going to win this game. But then I busted out the word ‘monotone’ on the edge of the board. I played it over 2 triple Word, score tiles, and one double letter score tile. Earning me 99 points for one word!! She didn’t want to play with me anymore, ha ha!
Dad often says “if we play a word game, mom is gonna ways win.” :) The day the kids beat me at boggle, scrabble, etc will be a wonderful core memory for both of us!
On another note, she borrowed her daddy’s favorite sweatshirt to wear to school today. She looked cozy, cute, and felt close to daddy all day.
