Kaden moves to Heritage Halls Dorm

 

Kaden lived with Papa & Grandma Lee for about a week before he could move into his dorm. Papa was so good to help Kaden move into and get settled. I was aching the whole day, longing to be the one to move my son into his first dorm as he starts college. But we know this was the best solution.

Papa sent this text:

Mom [grandma Lee] reminded me to give him a grandfather’s blessing before we left. He was very thoughtful and thankful for the blessing and letting him stay with us. He was excited and was checking everything out. There was a music room in the building, but the door was locked. He was hoping there’s a piano in there. His roommate had already checked in and had his bed made and all his stuff put away, but he was gone. Another one from another room was there getting his stuff set up. 

We barely got out of the SL valley before a huge rainstorm hit, but it was mostly sunny in Provo. The place was packed, but we found a close spot to park and unload. He gave big hugs and then was off on his new adventure 😊
