Dinner at Casa Santa. Great ceviche l, the best I’ve ever had! It was topped with a fresh orchid. It was too pretty to throw away, so I cleaned it and put it in my hair.
When we got home, we surprised all the kids with paper lanterns. We launched the paper lanterns… while almost burning down the neighborhood… 🤫 We only do this when there’s no wind. Tonight there was no breeze at all. They usually float straight up gently, until you can’t see them anymore. But tonight when they reached about 30ft, a strong breeze pushed them north over our house into our neighborhood. Charlie decided we needed to say a safety prayer! 😬 (Note: no fire was started by us; however we got so nervous we decided that this might be our last time).
I don't know any way that I could have had more joy in the last 20 years. Every thing we have gone through together and have been for each other, has been worth all the ups & downs; all the hard and heavy. We are more in love now than 20yrs ago. And we will love each other even more in the next 20 years than we do today.
Still my ride -or-die Spence. You're my forever. And I couldn't have asked for more or any better than you. You amaze me every single day. I never take you for granted, I know every moment how blessed I am to be with you forever. I love you!
