Today was really nice. We had fast and testimony meeting and the spirit nudged me to go so I got up and I shared my testimony.
After church, we went home for a bit. Then, we went to the Williams to celebrate Grayson’s 1st birthday. He was gifted a set of little tikes soft sports balls. After cake, Dad started a game: see who could throw Grayson’s new balls across the street and make it in the Williams’ open mail box. All my men and boys took a turn (Spencer, Perry, Charlie, Kaden, Race & Cayman). Perry started challenging the game for money. The furthest line could get the most money, and as it moved closer to the target, less money. There were 4 distance lines. I spent most of the time as back stop, retrieving the balls as they missed the mailbox, and throwing them back across the street. Spencer called to me to have a turn. I took turn in the middle of the game and missed, then went back to retrieving. When they were all done and had moved up to the final line none of them had succeeded; I took my last turn on the 2nd to last line… and made it straight in!! Dad Perry and Race went nuts! It was awesome! #GirlPower :)
After the party, we headed to the church for Kaden’s seminary graduation. He was asked to share his testimony to represent our ward in the stake youth. His testimony of Seminary and the teachings was really sweet to hear. We are so glad you graduated Kowboy! And your future self will be glad too.
