I was helping Perry study for his Spanish final. He asked me for examples of how to use commands. Right then Dad called us downstairs. I got up and headed to go downstairs but Perry said “Mom wait, what are examples of Spanish commands??”
So I responded with commands:
“Mira! Vamanos… andale… apudate, ya!”
But he just said “Mom c’mon please tell me examples of a command!”
He didn’t understand that I was giving him commands and telling him to hurry up/let’s go… Ha ha haaa!

Before bedtime Perry wanted me to sign off his daily chore/time card but he hadn’t practiced guitar yet. I told him to go practice a hymn. But he started playing Nirvana instead. I said “mm what church song is that? ‘Jesus wants me for a sunbeam’??”
He answered “Smells like Holy Spirit” 😆
