Goooooal!!

We’ve been encouraging Perry to practice his big kicks. I made him a makeshift “soccer pal” (a net with the ball inside, attached to a nylon rope so the ball doesn’t have to be chased). 

Perry played so well today at his game. He made the most beautiful goal kick: broke free from all the players and gave a hard right kick, sailing the ball into the top right corner of the net right over he goalies fingers!! Wish I had caught it on video. It was so awesome, even the opposing team cheered. Perry was super pumped! 

So grateful for the moments that teach our kids that practice pays off and hard work is rewarded.
