Boating with the Doxeys

We love the Doxey Family so much! Alex & Megan, and their adorable kids Troy, Henry, Penny, & baby Thomas. We enjoyed a fun day of boating and playing off the dock. Josie & I got to babysit Tommy while he slept so Megan could go boating with Alex & Spenc and the kids. Our neighbor Tim let us use their "water pad". It was just tons of fun!

The Doxeys have the same spacing between their 4 kids as we do, but 6 years later than we started. I observe their family and think back to when our kids were those ages when Charlie was just a baby, like Tommy is. Their kids personalities are very similar to our kids: Troy like Kaden; Henry like Perry; Penny like Josie; and sweet easy tempered Tommy like Charlie. :)

So much has changed. But I love the changes. I love the stages my kids are in now. And I know I will love the stages they're in for the coming years too. I loved caring for them as helpless babies and growing toddlers. But seeing their growth and progress makes me so happy at who they are and who they are becoming. I love our kids so very much.
