Charlie brought a pile of clothes he found in the corner of his closet. They’re clothes that are too small for him, but he insisted on trying them on to prove to us that they do fit.
He tried on several shirts and when he realized that the blue Hawaiian shirt was too small (it’s a size 3), he burst into tears. He cried even harder that the octopus swim shirt is too small on the arms (size 2!). I asked if he’d like me to take a picture of him wearing it to put in the blog? I told him he can remember it forever. He liked that idea, so he wiped his tears and stopped crying long enough for me to take a few pictures. Then he cried again. 🙄
I had no idea he was so sentimental about his old clothes!! I don’t know if it’s because he really just loves those clothes, or if he doesn’t want to stop being the baby? Either way, I just hope he doesn’t grow up to be a hoarder.
