If someone had told me years ago, that one day I’d sit through a 6th grade band recital and cry tears of joy while beaming with pride... I would’ve lauged in their face! But there I was last night: smiling, crying, and loving every note of Kaden’s recital! He worked so hard practicing the clarinet and maybe I’m blinded with pride, but I thought they sounded great (and not the dying geese noises I anticipated)!! We love our Kowboy Frank and his passion for music! I fully believe he has a gift for music and I’m looking forward to hearing all the wonderful things he does with his talents.
(Also, I had gone to pick up ShaeLyn from the airport. They lost her luggage and I was so nervous I was going to miss the recital! But we made it right as it started!! Tender mercies. Update: they found her luggage but she didn’t get it until the next day)
