Spider mouth

Last night we watched a creepy new show on VidAngel called The Haunting of Hill House. There was a part where a bug crawled out of a cat’s mouth and later out of a lady’s mouth. It left us a little spooked, but not terrified. 

It’s Fast Sunday today. I had a hard time going to sleep while feeling creeped out. Jo & Chuck came in and woke us up. I was still so tired and forgot it was fast Sunday. I had left my hydro flask on my night stand as usual. The plastic mouth piece is usually folded down after I’m done drinking it, but I left it open yesterday. I sat up in bed and took a big sip, filling my mouth with water... and something else! I felt a weird little chunk of something so I quickly ran to the bathroom sink and spit out everything in my mouth. I couldn’t tell what it was, but it started to move up the sink instead of down towards the drain. I flipped on the light and was horrified to see what had been in my mouth!! It was this disgusting thing...

 

I was so grossed out I started to throw up! I dry heaved for about 5 minutes!! The trauma made me feel like there was still something in my throat. For the first time in my life, I actually WANTED to vomit and hoped it would expel any nasty evidence of there having been a spider in my mouth. 😫

 

I started to shiver and cry and kept trying to throw up. I checked my hydro flask and saw the spider web silks inside the mouth piece. Upon realizing the spider was inside the mouth piece and I sucked it into my mouth, I started to dry heave again. [Huahhhh!!!] Yuuuck!! I am still so grossed out and will forever have a new disgust for spiders.

I can’t even believe this happened! Neither can Spencer. He thinks it’s creepy timing because we watched the first scary show of the Halloween season just last night. I think it was one way to ensure I won’t be eating or drinking anything this Fast Sunday. Nor do I even feel hungry or have any temptation to eat or drink. It just might be the easiest fast I’ve ever done. So at least there’s that.
