I love conference! I am always so inspired and encouraged to be a little better.
The boys quietly played chess while listening to the talks. Josie colored and took “notes”. Charlie insisted he was NOT tired, and cuddled up in the comfy chair. But 3 mins later, he was out!! 😆
The corner stores have a pumpkin patch every year on the first Saturday in October. So the last 2 years in between sessions we have headed over there. This year, Perry wanted to learn to skate board so we skateboarded down the street. He did great! When we saw the pumpkin patch we called daddy to bring the kids down. We had cider, brisket sliders, played on the bouncy house, and got free pumpkins! Then we went back for the 2nd Saturday session.
This time we knew some changes were going to be made. We’d heard some “rumors” about big things coming. So we were excited and glued to the screen! Among many new temples being announced, the prophet Pres. Nelson declared that church will only be 2 hour block meetings starting in January! (As an exhausted sunbeams teacher I am thrilled!! As someone who loves and needs every second of church, I’m a little sad.) I support our Prophet and I know Christ leads His church through him.
