Newbold Jones Adventure Day 2

The BEST 4th of July EVER!! We are so grateful for this amazing and beautiful country we live in! We are grateful for our government and all those who have fought and worked for our rights and privileges. We are especially grateful this year to celebrate and party with our beloved Newbold Jones people!! It was the greatest Independence Day yet!!!
The four of us adults got up before sunrise to claim the lake for ourselves. The water was warm and the sky was on fire! It was incredible. Later we spent lots of time playing off the dock and Spenc threw all the kids in the water, then tried to knock Heather in, but gave up when he realized Taryn was the better target! She doesn't like "fishy water" and we couldn't get her in at all. Uncle Spencer tried but Taryn held tight to the ladder bars! ha ha The kids loved hanging out with cousins. There was so much playing, snuggles, and love! We walked down to the Geist bridge to watch the fireworks. My friend Stephanie Swing joined us. Her family was out of town and she had to stay home to work. We were happy to have her with us! Even though it was HOT and muggy, it didn't stop us from having a dance party before the fireworks started. I can't say enough how much we love these people!!!
