Halloween 2017

Halloween the last 2 years has provided SO. MUCH. CANDYYYY!!!
This year we went door to door with Ryder, Maggie, & Meg. Our sweet neighbors spoiled the kids again with large goodie bags with big candy bars, play doh, and trinkets. We have the most generous neighbors! We went to the Griffins neighborhood again too. They had a treasure hunt that ended at the Grimshaws house, where each kid got a treasure box. Many of those big houses handed out full size candy bars... the kids were so giddy!
We also made sure this week to make caramel apples (thanks Daddy!) and the kids talked us into carving pumpkins. They promised to clean up the mess, even though we reminded them that they didn't like carving pumpkins. They insisted! So we let them and all of them complained about how gross & gooey the insides were. ha  ha! They turned out cute though so i was happy we did it. :) Josie designed a cat and I helped her. Kaden & Perry worked together on theirs. And Charlie ran around poking at the slimy seeds & insides plopped on the table. :)
Until next  year...
Happy Halloween!!
