Spenc ran the Corporate Challenge 10K this morning. We weren't able to go cheer him on because Perr had a soccer game. But at 8:30am as he had one mile left, the kids & i knelt down to pray for him to feel our love & finish strong. He said later that he felt terrible but got a 2nd wind at 8:32. He said he knew we had prayed for him. :) Out of 350 runners, he took 24th place!! He is awesome!
Perry had a great game! He was awesome on offense and made 2 goals (one he made for the other team while he tried to get it out of their goal). He made several saves from the ball going out. He played the entire game. The last quarter he was defender (goalie) and blocked 6 balls from becoming goals for the other team! He is awesome!
