Josie has been rapidly progressing with reading. At church she wanted to sing with the Sacrament hymn #177. So I pointed to the words and she actually sang along! She liked the hymn so much she asked me to write the lyrics in her doodling book. She's always pronounced Jesus as "Jejus" and we've let her cuz its so cute. So later she asked, "Why does that song spell His name like Jesus? How come they didn't say it normal like Jejus?" Ha ha! We finally corrected her and explained. Sweet big girl!
Along with reading, she's been practicing writing & spelling. The other day she wrote sticky notes on all of our doors that read "We luv yuoo". :) We often play a family game that's our own version of Pictionary. Josie named it "Pikshr Wut" (Picture What) and she drew a blooburee (blueberry)! It made us laugh!

Sometimes Jo has bad dreams and we have to wake her up to reset her sleep. Last night in the early morning, daddy heard her crying out so he went to help her. To make sure she was awake from her bad dream he asked her "Josie prove you're awake. Tell me what grade you're in and who's your teacher?" She answered: "Kindergarten... and you have bad breath!" Ha ha ha ha
